FOXTRONICS DBTI-2000 BATTERY TEMPERATURE SPECIFICATIONS
| |
RANGE:
35o to 190oF or 2oC to 88oC as supplied from factory.
| |
ACCURACY:
+/- 2oF using Foxtronics P-600-14B Probes only.
| |
WARNING LIGHTS:
PER EACH MONITORED/BATTERY 1 - Amber LED Light (labeled warm) trips “ON” 120o F rising and “OFF” at 118o F decreasing. External +26V sends alert to Caution Panel (limited to 125MA). 2 - Red LED light (label Hot) trips “ON” at 150o F rising and “OFF” at 148o F decreasing. External +26V sends alert to Caution Panel (limited to 125MA).
| |
INPUT:
Foxtronics P600-14B Series Probe only: Internal in each battery sends temperature data to indicator (no shielded wire required under normal conditions).
| |
TEST:
Panel Test Button causes both systems to go through internal analysis in alternate sequence. If electronics are normal, “Test” - Good” is displayed and all annunciator lamps are “ON”.
| |
NORMAL DISPLAY:
EACH SIDE 1. If temperature is below 32o F, display shows “COLD”. 2. If probe is open or wire broken, display shows “ERR!”. 3. If temperature is above 195o F, display shows “HOT!” 4. Warning and external alert circuits are redundnat to display temperature readings; therefore, microprocessor failure will not degrade warning or caution panel lights.
| |
POWER:
20VDC to 35V at 80 Ma. Max.
| |
DISPLAY:
4 - FIGURE .250 inch LED Dot Matrix.
| |
WEIGHT:
31/4 oz.
| |

| |
CONSTRUCTION:
One two-sided PC board using sub-miniature microprocessor and other surface mounted components house in an Alum. 1.940” round can 31/2” long with PTO2A-14-15P disconnect plug - Overall 3.870” long. Input circuits are RFI filtered.
| |
DIMMING:
Auto dimming of display lights; Internal sensor measures ambient light conditions and controls display brilliance with delay to prevent sudden changes.
| |
COMPATIBILITY:
This unit is designed to operate from same aircraft wiring plug and sensors used in installations existing using Foxtronics BTI-600 Series temperature instruments. This allows upgrading to modern technology and performance without aircraft wiring changes.
